Our guide went above and beyond what we had expected. He was very knowledgeable and fun to be with. We even went to a restaurant with him later that day with a couple we met on the tour. We had the famous pastries in Belem and a marvelous tour of Sintra and surrounding area. It was great.

Our tour was a full day, began promptly, and allowed us to arrive at Sintra before the crowds and warm weather did. Our driver/guide was skillful, and navigated the winding roads and found helpful shortcuts to keep us moving. Was a great source of history, and we learned more than we can remember about Lisbon and Portugal all in one day!
We stopped for lunch in Sintra, and enjoyed some local specialties of the sea.br/> The return journey was a beautiful coastal ride with a few stops at noteworthy points.v The weather varies from chilly mornings, warm afternoons and windy lighthouses so be prepared with a variety of clothing!br/> It was an excellent tour, and the only way to really experience these famous sites!

We have been in Portugal for almost 6 days travelling and visiting many sites, locations, attractions and experiences. But without any hesitation or second thought, I can say the best attraction, the best experience so far was this man (tour guide) from Selection Tours. The tour we selected was the Best of Lisbon tour and the Guide took us through this with almost dedication and perfection. He is well versed in English, has a great deal of knowledge about the history of Portugal and Europe. Well mannered, well spoken, we have utmost respect for this tour specialist. He also take great pictures, so pretty much he is an all rounder. Coming to the Selection Tours, we found them very professional, prompt, timely and understanding. The tour design is also such that it gives so many insights and at the same time very enjoyable. It is a pity that we could only do a one day tour with them. So my recommendation to the travellers to Lisbon is that they should look into the Selection Tours whole range of offers and select maximum number of tours while you are there in Lisbon.

P.S As this is a luxury tour, the maximum group they normally accommodate is not more than 15 people at a time to give individual attentions.

Amazing! Our tour guide picked us up at our hotel and proceeded to take us on a full day journey of three cities and their sites! She also set up lunch for us. She had a vast amount of information on all of the sites we saw!

My Husband and I just returned from Lisbon JUN’15, we only had 3 days to sightsee. We didn’t know what to expect nor did we have any idea what Portugal had to offer. We have never done a tour before we have always explored on our own. Since we only had a short amount of time we contacted Selection Tours via email, he was quick on her reply and answered all our questions. We discussed what we were interested in and wanted to see along with the cost of each tour (best).
The day of the tour the guide exceeded our expectations on what I had listed and then some. We did so much (drive/walk tour) and never once did we feel rushed. Was prompt, courteous, very professional, spoke very good English, extremely knowledgeable being a native of Lisbon. He is the reason we enjoyed our stay so much….he picked and dropped us off at our hotel (he would of dropped us off anywhere if we wanted her to). If we needed to make a stop along the way that was never a problem(flexible).
The guide also gave us great local recommendations places/food/stuff to do on our own time that we would of never thought to do. We spent 2 full days with the same guide, he is a amazing person and we can actually say he is a person who truly enjoys her Job. We have tried a tour bus and it was awful not worth it, at least to us it wasn’t (we were rushed and so much time wasted waiting for others to return to the bus on time).
Leaving Portugal we not only leaving loving the Country but we have met a friend along the way. With no regrets we HIGHLY recommend Selection Tours, the best way to contact her would be thru email.
